Advantages of Lower Pressure Hot Water Cylinders
The tanks are cheaper to make and last a long time often 40 plus years.
Low pressure hot water systems use less hot water.
They are light in weight and easy to maintain.
Low pressure tanks can be heater with gas, electric, solar and heat pump
technologies.
The tanks are fairly efficient to heat but not as good as heat pump.
The installation costs are lower compared to high pressure.

Slow to fill sinks and tubs where not pipe sized correctly.
